#20200805 - BE Mech 3rd year student from Virudhunagar studying in Chennai

This student is putting all his efforts into his engineering course so that he may find suitable employment to help his family come out of poverty. He is from Virudhanagar district and is pursuing his second year of engineering in Chennai.

His mother passed away after a heart attack and his father works as a mason and painter in Coimbatore. His younger sister, now in Class XI, lives with her grandmother in a one-room home in their village. The family has a bathroom but no toilet as yet.

For the first year, the student’s fees were paid with assistance from relatives and some insurance received after his mother’s death. For the second year, Aalayam has helped him. He has cleared his papers so far.

Aalayam will support the student with Rs. 35,000 for his third-year tuition.
